Hair transplant in Turkey: FUE, DHI, recovery and published prices

A hair transplant moves follicles from the back of the scalp to thinning areas, under local anaesthetic. The procedure itself usually takes a full day, and most patients spend 3–4 days in Istanbul including consultation and the first wash. Transplanted hair often sheds in weeks 2–8, regrows from about month 3–4, and the final result shows at 12–18 months.

What it is

All modern techniques are based on follicular unit extraction (FUE): grafts are removed one by one from the donor area. They differ mainly in how channels are opened and grafts implanted. The donor area is limited – a good plan also protects hair for the future.
