Reviews of clinics in Turkey: how to read them and spot fakes
Read reviews on several independent platforms, prefer recent and detailed ones that describe the procedure and the aftercare, and read negative reviews and the clinic’s replies too. Be wary of many reviews posted in a short time, very short reviews, or reviews that only appear on the clinic’s own site.

Where to read reviews
The facility’s Google profile, Trustpilot, patient forums and UK groups. Compare: a reputable clinic has reviews on several platforms.
Good signs
- Recent reviews spread over time.
- Concrete details: procedure, length of stay, aftercare back home.
- Result photos after several months, not just the next day.
- Calm, specific replies from the clinic to negative reviews.
Warning signs
- Lots of 5-star reviews within a few days.
- Very short reviews with no detail, all in the same style.
- Reviews only on the clinic’s website.
- Guaranteed results.
Before and after photos
A photo taken the next day doesn’t show the result. For hair, look at 12-month photos; for surgery, several months later.
